Christmas comes flying around too fast. It seems the decorations go up earlier, people do their shopping earlier, and before you know it, your diary is full with upcoming Christmas party nights out, and you wonder just how you are going to fit the festivities and preparations in on time. At the Brilliant Bakers, like everyone else, we get excited about all of these fun and festive frolics, but our most enjoyable Christmas tradition has to be indulging in a delicious freshly baked Christmas Cake.

So if you are a lover of all things traditional, you are sure to enjoy our Ho Ho Ho Fruitcake or Snowman Christmas Fruit Cake. It is a far cry from the dried out and unloved, tasteless brick of bitter fruit wedding cake that, like an uninvited guest you just had to tolerate at the party back in the 80’s.

The Brilliant Bakers fruitcake is the same recipe used and developed by Tim’s father 60 years ago, when he won three years running Gold medals for Wedding cakes at International Competition. Now nothing has changed with this recipe, except that now it is strictly top secret. What we can tell you is that is is full of high quality fruits, butter, dark sugar, topped with almond marzipan and white icing, with nothing un-natural, and is deliciously moist and as expected, bursting with the special ingredients and combinations that give you that Brilliantly Christmassy feeling.

One of our all time favourites is our Snowman Luxury Cake, which is a two- tiered beautiful winter scene of  "The Snowman", topped with handmade sugar trees and a tall slow burning candle to flicker throughout the duration of your party. We deliver Monday to Friday and your cake will keep perfectly fresh delivered on a Thursday or Friday for the following weekend and we can deliver to your home, office or neighbour if you are out, which makes enjoying freshly baked cake as easy as pie.It has taken us over two years to develop and patent protect our packaging systems to ensure our exciting and creative cakes get to you safely. Our free delivery service operates from 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday, and we will text you in advance to give you notice of when we are arriving so you can pop to the shops, or you can request delivery before 10am or 12 noon Monday to Friday and get on with all your other Christmas preparations.
